There has been a blog post about covers versus bareback, and the cons versus the awards.  How about the other side?

I’m sure we’ve all had fun experiences DATY with our girlfriends or a significant other. Those are the women we love and want to pleasure, the lovers we trust.

But what happens when you enter a massage parlor and want some kitty for breakfast, lunch or dinner with a stranger?  Do you know the risks and are you willing to take those risks?

According to an article about reducing the STD risks of cunnilingus from Health Magazine, herpes, HPV, syphilis and gonorrhea are all STDs that you’re at risk for if you’re going down there.

Though gonorrhea and Chlamydia are unlikely, performers of the deed are at risk from herpes, HPV or syphilis because those STDs can be on the skin and lining of the vagina. 

If you have cold sores yourself, you might be giving the receptive partner HSV-1, generally known as cold sores.  That’ll make a kitty look less appetizing.

However, the risks of DATY are considered low compared with sexual intercourse, either vaginal or anal according to the Health Magazine article.  

Be warned though, if you are going to go down there, avoid it if you have a cut or open sores on your lips or inside your mouth, and if you have bleeding gums.  These conditions will marginally increase risks of catching an STD.

Also, some people use dental dams or a plastic wrap to cover the area, and others will cut a condom in half.  These techniques and safety precautions reduce risk but my also cut down sensation.

Mongo’s advice - use your common sense if you enjoy going down there, and if the kitty doesn’t look washed or clean, then it’s probably better to stay away.  The best time to dine is probably breakfast too, before all the other dudes get a piece of the pie throughout the day.
