Sports Illustrated called it 3 years ago, we couldn’t have called it better ourselves. It was an intense 7 game World Series that culminated in a decisive victory for the Astros, our caps flying in the air here at the Rubmaps office, some angry and some very, very happy as we saw a new Champion crowned — the Houston Astros.
Really a tremendous team, MVP George Springer tying the home run record for a World Series, superstar shortstop Carlos Correa, everyone in this team gave it their all. I held my head in my hands exactly like Yuri Gurriel did after he caught the last ball and the last inning was over. It was magical.
We, the Rubmaps team, have to take our upcoming quarterly Texas trip, but I think this year we might skip Dallas and go directly to Houston. Any Houstoners that would like to recommend an AMP for us? I mean we have the list and the reviews, but Mongo and the team appreciate any personal favorite recommendations.
What parlor are you hitting up to celebrate the new Champions? For the time being we’ll hit up a few in our city today, but we can’t be seen wearing Astros swag around here, we’ll have to wait for our Houston visit for that.
