Mini Tournament NFL Week 2

Week 7 of the NFL season is in the books. And what a season it has been so far. Who would have thought the mighty Broncos would get there ass’s kicked by the Chargers of all teams, 21-0? Then that team from the Windy City stomping in and smacking around the Panthers with a 17-3 win, who are these guys? However, I feel like the best game of the week was the Chiefs and the Raiders. Derek Carr’s heroics may have saved the Raiders season and kept them in the hunt in a tightening AFC West.

Well, enough about the games, because we are way more interested in individual stats.

Let’s talk about QB’s

Carson Wentz lit it up for the Eagles and was the top point getter for the week. 5 guys picked Carson, so they are ahead of the curve heading into Week 8. Derek Carr also played well and helped his manager with a second place finish while Dak Prescott feasted on the Sorry Niners en route to the third highest points. To all you Mitch Trubisky fans, better luck next year.

OK, onto this week. For the second week, if you are new, you can still join and play. Just add your two running backs and your quarterback and their scores for the week will be tabulated. If you are interested in picking one of the running backs from Thursday night’s game, be sure to make the selection before the start of the game. Otherwise, you can choose players from the Sunday or Monday games. Below is an excerpt from last week with the rules. The following week, October 26-30, we will have the RBs, then the WRs, then the TEs, then finally the Defense. If you happen to join the contest late, you can leave your pick for THAT week's position players for the week that you missed. For example, if you didn't pick a QB, you can pick a QB in addition to the RBs during the RB week and whatever point's the QB scores, you will have those points for the QB section. At the end of the contest, we will calculate the points for every participant and award the following prizes.¨

3^rdplace: $100 Vanilla Visa Gift Card

4^th-1oth place: $50 Vanilla Visa Gift Cards

Only premium members and registered users are allowed to participate. You must be a premium member prior to the week we pick the Defense to be eligible. For those counting, that means, prior to November 11.
