Upsold and actually being ok with it

Lets get a count of hands of guys that have gotten upsold in one way or the other at a parlor. I look around the room and it seems that every guy has raised their hand. It's something that is a very natural occurrence at a parlor and most guys have a negative reaction to it. It is such a mood killer when you are rubbing her legs to signal extras and while the masseuse is good with giving you more, she makes sure you know that every little thing costs extra. Touch her ass, extra. Touch her tits, extra. Touch her legs more, extra. Touch her cooch, extra. Say more than ten words to her and have her talk backâ¦yep you guessed it, extra.

The only thing not extra is to reject all these extras and just get a regular massage. But if you do this, the masseuse will help turn the massage into a nasty experience because she knows that she will have two things coming her way. First, she has to actually massage you for the duration of the session and if it is a 60 minute session, that is 60 minutes of hard labor. Second, she knows that after the 60 minutes of hard labor, she will probably get a less than adequate tip.

In terms of this transaction, it is in the best interests of both to get what they want. For the masseuse to make more in tips and for the monger to get a very happy ending. So, how do we make that happen? Mongers need to realize that in this game, they will get upsold more often than not. They need to set their expectations that they will get upsold and go with the flow within reason of course. They should go into the encounter with a set amount of money. If they end up leaving with no money in their pocket, they will be content. It is all about the perception of overpaying for something. But if you don't feel like you have overpaid and the masseuse gets her money for a job well done, everyone is happy.

Mongers have explained in their reviews that they sometimes lay the tip on the table to let the masseuse know their intentions. This is essentially the same as emptying your pockets and gives you a far better chance to get the service you desire. You have shown her your cards and if she is good with it, then you will get the relief. If she is not, at least you have done all you can. At this point, you can cut your losses.

I know the tipping thing is a very touchy subject, so what do you guys think are the best ways to get the best results.

Good points by all. I usually bring in a $100 bill, and get 1 hr. Change is usually $40 to $60 bucks, so I just have them set the change on the table, that way no tipping issues. If I want more then a HJ, will bring extra in another pocket. If you do your research, read RM reviews, you want have any surprizes.

I follow the the $40-$80-$120 rule personally. The few times I have encountered a place like you describe I get dressed and leave. Keep in mind the girl gets mad when you do this but I'm not gonna deal with a girl acting like a used car salesman. I don't want to get turned on then spend 5 minutes deciding with options I want. Best to move on imo and give that place a wide berth until it changes hands again.

I went as a regular to an AMP for about a year....once a month or thereabouts. Usually paid $60 to front of house, $50 tip for an excellent HJ. I went in once and prior to getting on table, handed her a $100 bill. She knew from the start that I wanted more than the HJ, and I was rewarded with CFS. Not offered regularly, not on the regular menu, but we had established a 'relationship', of a sort, and she was comfortable giving me more.

6 2 is a happy medium just about anywhere. Gold in a legit establishment. Disappointing but passable in others. Sends a message you're willing to pay for good service, but you're no chump. Discrete providers will ask you to come back. Up-sellers will dis you b4 you hit the door. And that's a good thing. Don't go back.

I agree with the tip standards suggested by juicejiggalo. Regarding how to ask for extras, I never actually ask but rather let the provider wander into my upfacing palms and fingers on the edge of the table while on my stomach. And I don't try to cop a feel the first time she presents the opportunity. I absolutely hate being asked for more money during the massage. I won't get up and bust the mood. If she's not good with that, then no extras will be had or paid for.

I really agree opat in order to enjoy it, you gave to take some of the upsells. If she gets shot down she will be disappointed and you in turn will not be as satisfied as you could have been. To me it's like a restaurant, if I feel something was lacking, I will still try to enjoy my meal and tip but just won't come back right away and will find some place better. I don't feel obligated to communicate that, I express it by not returning. Haggling and arguing mid session is a big turn off, so I try to avoid it and be as nice as possible while feeling out what I think I can get away with (pun intended) It also helps to know you have alternatives in your back pocket - providers that you know will provide a certain level of service at the right price - gives me peace of mind when trying somebody new. Sorry, not much in the way of strategy, but it keeps me content.

I've stopped going in with only the expected cash. Because it's time we all man up. $40 for a handie is a fair price IMO. If she doesn't want to do it for $40, then so be it. I just tell her I can do it at home for free. Just tell her what you're willing to pay, whether it's $40 or $400. If you can't stop the upsell, then it's time to start.

If I'm ever being upsold or quoted prices higher than the market price, I will shut that down so fucking fast. From my experience, there's a reason girls try to squeeze money each monger. Simply put, they're not that good, and they don't have steady business. Therefore, they try to maximize their income by exploiting the few suckers who pay for more. Girls who are excellent at their craft don't have to worry about that. They've got more than enough customers and make their money through volume, not price. Also, when I used to pay more, I never came away thinking, "that was worth it". That has never happened to me. Not once.

I go in with two wads. One for my planned tip and another with a small extra sum to cover the possibility that I get something worth the extra funds in provider quality and/or service. I keep each in a separate pocket. That way, come negotiation time I can go after wad 1 without tipping my hand and then on to wad 2 if really needed (rarely). All while staying in budget for the session. Too much upsell usually results in me declining any extras and then dipping into wad 2 for the standard massage tip. I usually leave happy or just leave before I get a chance to be unhappy about my session.
