Massage Tips 101: How much do I tip the ladies?

Many of you have emailed and left comments asking how much should you tip the woman who is providing you a massage. The answer is actually more complex than one would imagine. First off, the a tip is a gratuity.

Money given in return for some service or favor, in particular.

It is 100% discretionary. Most massage girls derive a majority of their take home income off of tips. Sometimes in certain massage parlor arrangements (such as KMPs - Korean Massage Parlors and RMPs Russian Massage Parlors) they have to evenly share their tips with management, the cooks that make them food in the back, the lady that cleans up the sheets.

I think tipping really depends on what part of the country you are in and what you feel like the service level was for the performance you paid for. If you feel like you had a real girlfriend experience, it make sense to tip $30-$40 on top of whatever you paid for the service. Don't be a cheap ass, some of these girls send money back to their families overseas and every dollar counts.

You should always tip your massage therapist in cash--if you do it as a credit card amount, she might not end up seeing it. Make sure that when you go into a massage parlor that you have a good variety of bills. Which means...don't get stuck with having 4 twenty dollar bills. It's just like at the strip club. If you only have $20s, you can only type in increments of $20 ($20, $40, etc.). If you have $5s, $10s ($1s for you cheap asses), you can give them an exact amount based on your perceived value, for example you can tip them $18.88 in a Chinese location.

One final word of advice, these girls talk. So if you plan to go back to the establishment, be weary that if you tipped one girl poorly that the next time you stop by..she might all of a sudden be busy, along with the other prettier ones. You might get stuck with the busted looking one. It's like tipping at a restaurant. If you don't plan to go back, then tip whatever you want. But don't embarrass yourself if you plan to go there again.

I agree with any and many who doesn't over tip or even tip less. If we don't do that then the price will keep rising and sky will be the limit. To our disappointment, there will, or there are, always be guys who are too gullible and over tip because they thought the provider made them feel like a king and they are the only one. I recently tipped $60 because this provider did indeed go the extra mile to help me unload. The one thing that you should never do is overtip a legit place. I hate that. Never tip more than $10 for a legit place. If you tip more, you are taking away any incentive for them to provide extra services. I have heard logic that dictates that you should tip more in hopes that they will open up to you one day. Bullshit. They will keep stringing you along. I love trying new places to see how far I can get. If I don't get any action, I take out a big wad of cash right in front of them, give them the 10, and suggest that there is more to be had if service improves.

There seems to be something of an industry standard baseline with respect to tipping; $40 HJ, $60 CBJ, $80-$100 FS. A really pleasant gal who goes the extra mile is worth another twenty and my repeat business!

I always pay extra in my tips because I normally get 90 minute massages, I start with $30 for legit 90 minute massage, $40-50 for 90 minute massage with HE depending on how sensual the massage is, sometimes I have paid $60 for an HE but it was one that drove me wild and she allowed me to such on her breasts and rub the kitty, $60 for CBJ and $100-120 for FS depending on the foreplay.

Its been my experience that if you're generous and a regular, the menu opens up more. CBJ can become BBBJ and so on. A girl who only provided CBJ now does BBBJTC for me since I'm a generous regular. One thing I have recently noticed with Chinese AMP providers. Once they get to know you as a safe, regular customer, they allow more touching of their bodies such as touching the kitty, fingering the chocolate star, removing their bra and sucking on their breasts but you better pay extra in your tip for them to continue to allow you to touch them. Most of my massages are 90 minutes long, so I adjust for the extra time. $30 for legit massage if it is good, $50 for massage and HE. Most of the cbj's I have received were weak, so I paid $60 for the cbj and HE, $100 for FS and $120 for BBFS.

Like most my standard is $40 for a fully clothed release but I'll go higher if I "think" she's into it. I tip $40 if there is a HE involved and I get a full hour. If not, I tip less and usually won't go back. Places that short you on time we'll end up losing customers anyways and closing their doors. If I'm getting a legit massage, then I may tip $20 for an hour or $30 for 90 min. My regular girls always get more.
