So I’m sure you’ve all seen Thursday’s kickoff game already and are crunching every single last number into your fantasy league team. We have a whole season ahead of us, weeks upon weeks of Sunday, Monday and Thursday games. Come out of work in the week, go straight into a pub and watch the game with a few brews and a few friends. Wake up early on Sunday, turn on the TV and enjoy some all-American past time. Aren’t we forgetting another all-American past time, though?
How are you gonna monger through the week if you got 3 days of football games to keep up with?! That’s enough to drive a man nuts, man. Mongo used to have a real hard time setting things up and I won’t lie, it’s one of the main reasons we started this here website. But here are some tips:
Some parlors near you might close real, real late, you can visit these any time in the night after the game is finished, but I wouldn’t suggest it if you have to come in early to work the next day. If you’re a 9 to 5 dude squeezing in another hour for mongering after the game might be a hard play. Sunday games don’t finish too late and a lot of parlors might still be open afterwards though, so that’s a good play to make if you ask me.
Some parlors have a radio in the massage rooms, the RA’s usually use them to play some soothing music, but if you request they tune something else they won’t say no, at least in my experience. I only did it once before, it might not be the same as watching the game but man, I needed a massage and football at the same time. Can’t a man have both? You might not be as lucky if they have a speaker/PA system connected to the whole parlor though.
What’s your Football/Mongering schedule looking like? I can’t help but think all the mongering we would get done if we didn’t have to show up to work every week day, you know what I mean? Hahaha.
